Restoration Before & Afters ..

I actually don't keep many of my befores ... but with restoration ones I do:

This a photo I restored for Brenda ... it was small, low quality, cut off at the top and badly damaged but very precious to her:

Before ...

After ...

Wendy,
How much time did you have to spend cleaning that photo up? I find the faces are the hardest to do and take the most time. The photo looks great.

Hi Tina ...

The restoration took me weeks to do ... I just kept doing a little at a time. Starting on th easy areas and then working my way to the more complex ones

This is the very first restoration I did. I was pretty proud of myself at the time, but looking at it now........well it could use a lot of improvement. Of course it doesn't help that this picture is actually bigger than the size I actually was working with. maybe one day I should tackle it again. I'm sure I could do much better than this now.

Wendy, amazing, I have no idea how you did that. Seeing some of these restorations is like watching a Magician, I just look in awe and marvel at the secrets you hold.

Wendy and Pauline,

Both your restorations jobs are great. I have tried a couple and find them very, very difficult.

Karen they are difficult and time consuming but also very rewarding. I had a great time doing this one even though now I see so many flaws.

What a great job to both of you! I have also just started to look at my first pictures which isn't that long ago and notice where I can too make it better.
