DeviceConnect.exe - taking up CPU
I installed PSE3 a day ago and since then my whole system is bogged down. I ran Task Manager and found I'm at 100% CPU with PhotoshopElementsDeviceConnect.exe using 98%. - that is without even running PSE. Anybody know what's going on?

Just a hunch, but based on an error problem I encountered:
Go to the CONTROL PANEL (switch to Classic View if Category View Displayed) Select ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS Select SERVICES Select PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS DEVICE CONNECT Change the Startup mode to MANUAL Hope this helps. |

Thanks, that did it! I haven't tried connect a device yet so I'm not sure how that will work. But at least I can function normally until that time. Thanks again.
