Challenge#221

I am off to Nova Scotia on Sunday and there is a certain sadness of leaving the Province of Ontario that has been home for a good part of my life. I have includes 7 images, some small some not so small. Have a good time by doing with them what you like. I will be losing my provider early Saturday morning (2 a.m.?) so the I doubt if any image will get posted after 10 p.m. Friday. Due to the short nature of this Challenge I will start posting as soon as I get three images in and try to keep it up until as late as I can.

The last Challenge from the old site and some fitting images. Thought I would get some comments in before they vanish:

ALEX B: I like the map background of #1. The overlays on the trillium (#2) make an effective image.
ANNE T: Paint daubs? Great look.
BARBARA W: Love the way you incorporated the elements into the folded fabric.
CHARLES Y: The glow you gave the trillium reminds me of seeing one on a hike through a Douglas fir forest out in the Oregon Coast Range -- among the dark forest floor litter and only an occasional sunbeam breaking through, the flower seemed to emit a soft light of its own.
GAIL B: Nice montage of the flags and heraldry and extra points for
getting Grant's picture in there.
JANCY: Gotta love those bubbles/dew drops/stars -- and a great edge
effect.
JODI F: Grant on the shingle is great -- that seagull!!!! The aliens in #2 are wonderful.
JOHN E: I like the drop shadows and the text effect you achieve here.
JUERGEN D: Nice combination of the flag from Nova Scotia and the Ontario trillium.
MALCOLM D: Great black and white rendering of the trillium.
RALPH H: The overlaid trilliums (trillia?) produce a great effect.
RITA G: Interesting emphasis of the veins in the petals -- a neat
effect.
TAB A: Where indeed? Perhaps an offering of Grey Poupon would elicit an answer.
