fire Animation

Hey Guys, I would like to know if there was any way by which U could create an animated fire by the size 1024x768??

More than that, I would like to know If I could insert another image from another file and Merge the two things together??? So that I would look as if the image was standing inside the fire???

Please help me Guys, I need to do this ASAP

The only animation in PSE is animated GIF. To do that, you make a multi-layered document, and use Save For Web, select GIF and Animate. When it is saved and viewed in a browser, the layers are displayed in a flip-book style.

So you will need several still images of the fire, each different, that you can stack together to make your animation. I suppose you could manually draw the fire, if you don't have photographs.

Onto each of these layers, you could superimpose the image that you want standing inside the fire, if that is the look you are going for.

How real does it need to look?... Elements is not really a good program to animate in.

If it does not need to look too realistic you can make do. I am not good at making fire and less at animating but I made the animation below in about 20 minutes. Not worth a darn and not very real looking but maybe something like this is all you need...

actually, Im trying to make the whole picture look more realistic. As U can see in the beginning of Mortal Kombat Deception, There is a guy standing inside the fire. with the fire blazing all around him. Thats the effect I need and I need it to look as realistic as possible.

And, Im not trying to show the Animated Picture on the web, I just need to use it as an ordinary animated picture.

All I have in my hand is the Photoshop Elements 5.0

also please tell me if We can use guides in Photoshop elements 5.0??? Because I have a tutorial which tell us how to create the animated fire. I completed the first 4 points. then the person who ut the tutorial says to insert a Guide (Horizontal) into the picture. I treid looking for a guide, but I couldnt find it.

Guides are not "native" in PSE5, but you can add them inexpensively with Graffi's Handy Actions (v2.5 just released!) HERE. You get a lot more than just the guides, BTW.

What I mean is that Graffi's Handy Actions includes many add-ons for PSE5, of which Guides is one item.
