Whadayawant

Okay, so you've been using Photoshop Elements 3 for a while, and you probably already have some ideas for what you'd like to see in the next version.

So, post 'em here. We can't promise anything of course, by Adobe does ask for our suggestions now & then...

Actions and the ability to record them. As someone who shoots several hundred images at a time needs to be able to apply changes across the board. I can live without a lot of things but Actions would really make this program a must have for serious editors.

Some level of ACTIONS or more automation scripting control..

I too shoot a lot of photos, high school sports, and would benefit from the ability to write scripts like I can with Paint Shop Pro. I do this for the kids, no charge, and am limited in just how much time I can spend on them. To ensure I get everybody on the team(s) I take a lot of shots and have a lot of media to work with. Since the game shots are all during a particular timeframe, the color adjustments and light fixes are typically the same or very close - but seldom met by the default auto-fixes.

Scripting is the one thing that took me to PSP and the one thing that might just take me back :-) I like PE3 better but...

Just PE3, period...

...I don't want ANYTHING else. Geez. Come on Adobe, stop the madness :-)

When I bought PE3, that was all I wanted. I didn't want Album, period. I had the 2.0 version and didn't like it. Forcing me to load it when I load PE3 is NOT making me a happy customer.

You're instead, eating up MY resources and making PE3 run slower than it needs to. 'nuff said.

I feel your pain, i do, really i do... :|

I don't hate the organizer...would have been nice to keep it away from my editor tho. The program could have them both...but seperated...users choice to install or not...but put the picture package, contact sheet ...+ back into the editor.

how's that sound ?

4x6 AND 6x4

Why is 6x4 a preset but not 4x6? When cropping a bunch of photos for 4x6 printing I often find some I would rather crop 6x4. Now, I have to manually plug those numbers in.

JPEG compression...

Why can't I set the compression quality once and have it stay that way? When I pick 4x6 and 220ppi, PSE3 assumes I will want to save each and every file at a high compression level. I don't. Let me chose not only when doing the editing of photos but as an overall default as well. Gary
