Coming Soon....

Watch this space for fun challenges and contests, complete with prizes.
It's a little early to give away any details yet, but watch for our first contest coming soon with a very cool prize!

I think it's a great idea to have challenges and whatnot. Only I hope this site will develope it's own unique style and not copycat those OTHER challenges. Nothing wrong with the other sites and what they offer up for challenges but who want's more of the same 'ol same 'ol ?

Let's be different !

Interesting point Foxhound ... so you don't think it should be a Graphic Art Challenge or a Photography Challenge.

What sort of challenge would you suggest?

How about "most unusual use for a tool" or "most creative use of the Pencil tool"?

Well ... that is such a good suggestion ... when I have stopped laughing I will try to think of a creative use of the pencil tool

Haven't stopped yet

Perhaps an exercise in both catagories would work. For example, making a rather overweight person look believably thinner and visa-versa. Create an advertisement for an orange juice company that would require shooting, or creating, the subject matter. How 'bout creating a web page banner for "Acme widgets Inc"

The skys the limit. Just be unique in our challenges.

Apparently "the challenge" is known only to subscribers. (Got to pay to play.) Will we poor people/casual users at least get to know who wins and what their "creation" looked like?

I definitely agree that the challenge shouldn't be Graphic Art or Photography... Perhaps it could be something that would benefit everyone like compose an original tutorial, with the winning work being featured with the other tutorials on the site :?:
