I created a really cool art piece

Here's what I did to create the artwork that is in my gallery.

I found a picture that had the colors in it that I want on my final piece. It was a picture of my sons when they were just a year old.

I copied a long, narrow strip of colors from the original and pasted it into a new document. I then stretched the strip to fill the entire canvas. Finally, I used the liquify filter to create several versions of the original.

I'm going to have them printed in 16x20 format and frame them for some unique artwork for the family room walls. (Quite inexpensive, too, compared to buying someone else's work.)

very cool! I haven't really gotten around to playing with stuff like this, but I really like what you did. ;-)
