commit button

I'm using the crop tool and can't save the cropped area. The help menu says just press the commit button, but I can't for the life of me even find a commit button. What do I do now?

That's easy - once I was using the crop tool instead of the marquee tool!

Thanks.

Dave, lot of folks get the crop tool and the marquee tool confused. Glad you got to it work.

Dave,

It's perfectly fine to use the Marquee tool to define your crop area -- you simply have to use the menu Image > Crop to finish the job.
