Galllery works great
Gallery Works Great.
I have'nt had any problems getting in or out and in viewing all the prints. I resize using Mike's suggestions re: image size and the save everything in a folder named PE3Gallery; which I will update from time to time. I have had difficulty getting logged on to Forum so changed my username slightly and e mail addr. One final comment after viewing the posted images WENDEEEEEE !!!! Yes. |

And Jodi! I adore the one of the little girl -- I assume your daughter? That is wonderful. I love how you did the artistic effect on all but her face. And the frame/edge is so great. I want to try something similar.

You do realize this is going to spawn a ton of questions
Wendy have you ever thought of creating tutorials of your own for you images. You are very creative and have some fantastic ideas. I liked the image of the face with the light cloth stretching over it and the strawberry dress... My favorite fruit.
Every picture I saw in the Gallery was a work of art!!! Brice

Jodi, the picture (both the photo and the ps-ing) of the gal with dandylion is gorgeous. Any chance for a tutorial on THAT?
Would be handy for my application portfolio if I can snag the neighbor girl to pose for me. ![]() (man, I have a lot to learn in 2 months.....)

Jim, Yes ? You call ?
Kerri, it's really quite simple. All I did was desaturate her with an adustment layer but I painted the eyes back in a bit. I can't recall if I used levels to lighten the image or whether I lightened it from the same hue/sat adjustment layer...but anyways, I lightened it. Then I used a feathered rectangular marquee around the inner edge and applied crossed hatch and angled strokes . Then with another feathered marquee closer around the inside I applied a gaussian blur. My feathers are generally pretty high. Then just duplicate the image and transform the top image so that it's smaller, add a drop shadow and that's it. I think I probably lighted the bottom one more afterwards. I don't take notes but this is what I remember since I just did it a couple of weeks ago. Oh wait, looking at it now I do remember making a large stroke on a new layer>lite>center, apply gaussian blur...for that slight outer lighter edge. |
