I like both sketches. Don't be sorry. I've been so busy reading the forum, I haven't done much photo work. But I'd like to try a sketch; your's are so good..

Valerie.....

That is just LOVELY. Can you refresh my memory (with a link) with just which technique you used to do this?

Carol, Kar1211 & Robyn...thankyou for your comments.

Robyn.....I am so so so bad on writing things done and not remember how I came to get the finished product. But it all started with the instrustion from Kim http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com...t=color+sketch and when it didn't turn out the way I wanted, I started mucking around with b&w, inversing, erasing & sketch brushing. I'm going to go back in the history and see if I can retrace my steps. I kick my self when it comes to times like this when I'm asked how I did it or now that I even want to do another one of my granddaughter.

Is there a way I can just copy each effect/layer/style into another photo (something like an action). Wishful thinking on my part I guess. If I every get this one down, I'll re post you.

Thanks Kev. I have been turning my poor granddaughter's pictures into so many different techiniques, but she's the only one I can sneak great shots of.

Valerie,

What a beautiful image and great work with the effect. I want to learn to do that kind of work in PSE myself, and seeing yours is good inspiration.

Thank you Skywriter...that effect came out of trial & error. Still trying to recreate. (must write things down.....I keep telling myself that)
