Effect of changing my Windows file scheme?
Having done my first two batches I realise my Windows file scheme is less than desirable – where clarity is all in 1000s of Windows files.
Obviously changing it in Windows will screw up catalog in PSE5 – unless the is a way of reconnecting! Is there a way? My searching in HELP and the printed out PDF reveals nothing as PSE5 uses ‘File’ for photo/file and so has no term for Windows files. As an aside my interest is as much in archiving my photos, the original and edited to clean up, as the ‘artistic’ manipulation which will be very rare. Each to his own. Derek |

Take a look on page 63 of the pdf User Guide. That tells you how to manipulate folders and files from within the Organizer which I think is what your trying to do,

Only query is how did you know I printed and bound the first half of the .pdf plus Glossary and Index this morning? Seriously, well worth doing from the PSE5 CD even if this time the two sorts of 'files' did not let me get it. Derek |
