Problem downloading from Memory Card

I tried to download picturs from my memory card from my digital camera, and after starting to act like it was going to down load them, a block popped up and said something about the "paraments" were not right. What does that mean and how can I fix it. I have taken this program out twice and put it back in and it doesn't help. I can download from my documents, but not directly from my memory card. Thanks pat

Hi Pat and welcome to the forum. I have seen numerous post about "not reading the memory card". I have not yet had such a problem so haven't paid attention to what they say. But be patient, you have come to the right place. There are a lot of great and helpful people here. Someone will come along shortly to help you. In the mean time try doing a thread search on memory card. There is a search link in the menu bar at the top of the page. Good luck and again, Welcome.

EDIT: try starting with this thread. It may help.

Hi Pat ..

... and welcome to the forum

Most of us tend to use a card reader to download our cards ... can I just check if you are downloading directly from your camera ? If so which camera are you using ??

Wendy

Pat,
I have a Kodak EasyShare camera and after installing an update I could no longer download from my camera. Kodak sent me instructions for working around this problem which I would be glad to send to you if you send me a PM with your email address.
