Printab le Grids

I am an artist and I would like to load my photo and then add a grid on top of the photo PLUS be able to print the picture with the grid.

Can anyone help with this? I have Photoshop Elements.

Thanks

Hi there ...

... and welcome to the forum

An easy way to make a grid is to make a grid pattern.

Open up a new images ... the size you want the squares in your grid to be (but don't worry if you are not sure what size you need ... just make is 30 pixels by 30 pixels)
Now select black are the foreground colour
create a new layer above the background layer
Select>All
Edit>Stroke Selection inside, 1 pixel
Turn off the eyeball on the background layer
Edit>Define pattern

Now to use your pattern open the image you want to add it to
Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Pattern
Select your new pattern
Scale it using the scale box

... and there you have a printable grid.

Don't forget to save your new grid pattern using the preset manager
