Photo Theme # 42

This week to allow for expression -- the subject is open, anything you want to shoot -- but with one difference - the picture posted must be Monochrome (black & white, sepia, or any other monochrome you want). So it may be necessary to Photoshop to get the results you want. Have Fun with this one!

The fine print:
  • Because the purpose of the weekly theme is to get us more familiar with our cameras and to sharpen our photographic skills, entries should be taken during the week of the theme.
  • Photoshopping is allowed.
  • To make this thread more manageable to view, please post only your entries in this thread. Post your comments in the accompanying ‘comment’ thread.
  • Be creative and have fun!

Rather than be last on the list -- I decided to shoot this shed because it has character (IMO).

Must confess that this photo was not taken this last week - but very recently on a trip to London.

Cheers,
Helen

This is from last Wednesday. I did a hue sat adjustment layer and clicked colorize and adjusted.

Clematis

I used brightness/contrast, hue/saturation, and levels layers to make this into a monochromatic image--this week's challenge challenged me to try something different!

Also did some on-line research and learned something new--what's left after a clematis flowers is called the seedhead.

Here's a frilly pink begonia with Grants channel mixer to turn to grayscale and a blue photo filter layer.
