Elements 7 cutting off audio on import!

Heya,

When I import my media from the computer at least the last 10 seconds or longer (depending on the length of the clip) is sometimes missing! This happens too frequently for my liking. Anyone know how to fix this?!

What is the source (if camcorder, brand and model), format, and duration of the video audio that you are bringing to the Premiere Elements 7 Timeline and find content missing?

What exactly is missing? From the title thread is would appear to be just the audio. But, in the body of the thread, you say

sometimes missing!

Is the something just audio or video and its linked audio?

This has the ring of video needing file conversion, but let us not take anything for granted, and let us work together with your details (lots of them) to get you passed this issue.

System resources, updated drivers, computer optimization are all typical avenues to go down, but right now I think the best first route is the properties of that video that you are putting on the Timeline.
