Hi Bonnie,
There really isn't a limit to the number of clips or photos you can use is a project. The limit is more determined by what will fit on a DVD if that is your end goal. A 1.5 hour project can fit on a single DVD without losing quality. So it depends on how much you want to put into that time, and that would be a long project and DVD.

The other consideration is your system, how much can it handle. A Dual or Quad Core processor and 4GB of RAM can handle a lot.

You can always open your project again and do more editing. I will often make changes after burning the first DVD. Just open the project again, make the changes and burn a new DVD

I have created many tutorials, most of them are version 4 and 7 which are almost identical. Many of them are free;

Hope this helps

Also, in the Adobe website you can find a file that you can download to you computer. It explains everything you need to know about Premier 4 in detail.

Hi Sonita,
Do you know where that file is? What file are you referring to?
Is it the online help file?

Well, I just checked in adobe.com and seems they removed it because they now have Premier8. I do have the file, but don't know if I'm allowed to post it here. Do you know?

Is it the help file? That is available from inside Premiere Elements. Or is it something else?

It is the primierelements_4_help pdf file. I bought Premier last year and recorded a movie, but still haven't used Premiere. I guess I should do it once and for all.

Thanks ATR.

Okay I checked my Premiere Elements and it is the same file.

I really need to start using Premiere Elements. Too many things to do, to little time.

Sonita,

Here is what I have put together for now for Premiere Elements 4:

Here are some places to look for free Premiere Elements 4.0 video tutorials and other information specific for that version. Often principles stay the same from version to version, but it is those features and their locations that can be challenging to find from version to version.

1. This one is promoting a training DVD, but does offer some free video tutorials. So take a look at the free ones.
http://www.infiniteskills.com/traini...-training.html

2. This is the link for the Premiere Elements 4.0 Help PDF, a very often overlooked major asset to learning and troubleshooting. Good graphics and descriptions...any assists needed in going through it, just ask me anytime.

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/PremiereElements/4.0/

3. Those Adobe Tech Notes also come in handy for learning and troubleshooting:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/402/kb402533.html
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/402/kb402532.html
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/402/kb402332.html
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405394.html

4. Miscellaneous
http://www.adobe.com/support/documen...Tutorials/02h/

I will add to this later.
