I just received an email from adorama, saying the camera is being packed and ready to be shipped, so it will be on it's way tomorrow! Yahoooooo!! Suppose to arrive at my doorstep on Thursday the 29th.

The UPS guy just delivered my new camera
 !!, charging batteries right now, about to attach strap etc. to it and then I might take it for a spin, even though the weather is pretty bad. It's pouring buckets outside and the wind is blowing 40mph. Taking it out of the box, I appreciate the feel of it. I liked the feel of the 5D M II, but this one feels even better in the hand ( it just feels right). It also feels sturdier, more solid (must be the better build). That's it for now, just took it in the house a few minutes ago, but will keep you posted as I go along.Stephan

Well, I finally managed to drag myself outside and within 2 minutes I was soaked to the bones, windgusts exeeded 60mph and it got dark soon thereafter. Today I had to go to a funeral and I did not take the camera with me. So, I will have to wait 'til tomorrow to take it out and find something to shoot.
