It can be a challenge getting supportive information for versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements earlier than the current version (in this case, Photoshop Elements 8/Premiere Elements 8).

To make matter worse, often web sites/forums with great FAQs and such get restructured and the older information is lost.

I have keep the information on the earlier programs, so, if you are looking for some of that content and do not find it, please let me know and I will check out what I have saved to see if I have what you are looking for.

Hope that the information already supplied is helpful.

Usually I am not a great fan of learning a recent version from an earlier version because, although principles tend to stay the same, feature locations do not.

But, Premiere Elements 4 and 7 are very similar (there are no versions 5 and 6), so, if you run into any online Premiere Elements 7 video tutorials, it might be worthwhile to check them out.

We are here to get you through an version upgrade gaps.
