Make clips from movies
This is all so new to me. I cant figure out how to divide a movie into clips. I then want to save certain clips from 15 movies and then make a single movie. Basically I am making a highlight video for my soccer team and have 15 games of video. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Do you have Premiere ELements (video editor) or just Photoshop Elements (photo editor)? You are going to need a video editor for the job, and Premiere Elements will do the job. Basic idea a. import a video (whose format is supported by the program) b. trim the video in the Preview Window In Out Points and, using a WorkArea Bar feature, selectively export segments as DV AVI to a hard drive folder. c. repeat "b" for each of the movies, so that you end up with your segments as DV AVI in that hard drive folder d. then open a new Premiere Elements project, and import the segments that you want in this composite movie Remember, do a mini run before the grand project to make sure that you and the program are OK. Premiere Elements questions should be placed in the Premiere Elements Forum here so that they do not get mixed and lost with Photoshop Elements questions. Please post additional questions there. If Wendy sees your post, she may transfer this thread over. Make sure that you have the computer sources and requirements to support your projects. An optimized computer is the way to go. ATR |
