Reduce size of Adobe picture
The Jpeg image is currently 2.99 MB (3,140,000 bytes) and I do not know how small it should be for sending quickly.

Welcome.
A convenient way to make a reduced-size copy for emailing is to use Save For Web. Either click the menu File > Save for Web... or use the keyboard combo ALT-CTRL-SHIFT-S. The Save For Web dialog shows you a Before/After view of your image, and allows you to select the new copy's dimensions, compression level, file type. When you click the OK button, a file explorer window opens which allows you to place and name the new file as you like. Quote:

Doug,
I should have mentioned that, as you make changes to the image parameters on the SFW window, you can see the impact on the resulting file size shown beneath the After view of the image. Byron Byron |

It worked and I copied from the Adobe to Microsoft which was easier for me to use as I could not find the comparison on Adobe. Doug
