Fonts in Watermark
Hello,
I am a newbie here so apologies if this has been asked before - I have searched. I have any number of fonts installed on my PC, and they are all selectable with the text editor in the normal Elements editing window. However, when I try to watermark my photos using the facility in Process Mulitiple Files, only 30 fonts show up in the drop down, with no possibility of scrolling up or down to see more. I have tried shutting down and restarting and that doesn't help. Any ideas please? I am using Elements 7 |

ps.cole,
I use PSEv.8, and I can scroll for all the system fonts. both for labels & watermark on the dialog. Usually, when things don't go well in this program, it is recommended to reset preferences. That may, or, may not fix it. Directions: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/pse...ipspse7_10.htm If you plan to watermark many files now and in the future, I suggest that you make a brush to accomplish this. A brush is much more efficient and versatile. There are many tutorials for this; here is one which works well: http://www.elementsvillage.com/forum...0&postcount=14

Hi ps.cole, welcome aboard!
I also have PSE7. I haven't encountered the font problem you are describing. At this point I have more questions than answers. 1. How are you trying to scroll down the fonts -- using the Scroll slider or the Up/Down keys on your keyboard? Both alternatives should work. 2. Were you able to scroll through the fonts before in the Process Multiple Files dialog box? 3. Is this issue something which developed recently? If your answer is YES to question #3, I would suggest you restore PSE Preferences file. Most of the time when PSE develops unusual behavior the culprit can be found in a corrupted Preferences file. Here are the instructions how to to it. Restore default preferences Hope this helps!

Hi Ken,
I didn't notice your post with the instructions to reset PSE Preferences file. We seem to be on the same wavelength.

Hi,
Try this . I am sure this will help. This is a article to get a scroll bar by default. http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-ele...font-list.html Do reply if you face any issues. Regards, 27Prac |
