A child portrait with a texture
Today I played with applying textures. What do you think?
![]() ![]() EDIT_ ok, I'm trying to attach a jpg file and have a thumbnail but I fail...

I love textures and think they work well as a background in your image. You might want to consider removing some from his neck.....also think it would help to bring a little more color back into his skin tone. A critique forum is something that has (is?) being considered here......hope I haven't offered more advice than you were looking for. Think you came up with a nice solution to your image and the texture almost seems to reflect the expression you have captured!

Hi Agneshka,
It looks wonderful and I'd love to see the larger versions. To post thumbnails from your Flickrstream - go to your image in Flickr and click the share button, then choose 'Grab the HTML/BB Code', then choose thumbnail from the dropdown, and change the HTML option to BB Code. Copy the entire link that appears in the box and paste it here. That will give us a thumbnail to click on to be taken to your Flickr image. Here is a screenshot with arrows on the relevant spots: Click for large view
