I assume your using Windows Explorer to view the folders and then Windows Photo Viewer to view the images. I have Win 7 64 too and it's up to date and it's working fine for me - getting there either...

Sounds like you have the wrong color profile. Before posting to the or saving to the web you need to convert your color profile to sRGB. In fact that 's the best color profile to use for everything...
