Your work is beautiful, I really like what you do with the paint tools. I am working on trying to master the paint tools so my work looks half as good as yours.

I enjoyed looking at the photos in your gallery today. I especially admire the painterly effect you use to "soften" your photos. I would be interested in learning how to do this. Thanks. Jack

Love your Hot & cool pic, looks like an untouched orig. I have been surfing all the Village info and found Tonyw`s creative #99 tip on using the High Pass filter. Saw that you were on that thread also and wondered if you tried that to your photo. I used it on my "blowing sand" pic, really made things pop. Being the new kid on the block hope I`m not out of line with this inquiery.

That is great to hear. Yes we have been getting many newbies and that just makes it all the better. More new ideas to learn from. That is so nice of you to state how well you like my images. Sounds like you are busy and glad to here you try to make all of the newbies feel welcome and comfortable here. Hope you have a great day what is left of it.

Ok going to try this again. My reason for writing you is that I am concerned that I may have done something to cause you to be upset with me. I have been worrying about this ever since I tried to copy your hot rod basic filter sketch. I hope I am wrong but have been concerned due not seeing you post blogs on my images like I have become used to getting and really appreciating all you tell me when you blog. I have made a lot of on line friends on the great site and would hate to loose any of them due to something I might have done to offend them. You are one of my favorite people to talk with and check out all the great things you always seem to come up with. Let me know either way, I will truly try to correct any thing to keep you as a friend. I hope my concern is only due to me being a worry wart.

Tried to send a private message yesterday and can't tell if it was sent or not. Let me know if you got one from me yesterday. Thanks.

    Hello Sepiana
I just loved the basic sketch on the hot rod you did. So I tried one and for some reason I can't get the same results as you.
Could just be my ability to be that good. The only thing I get confused about is when tut says to change to gray scale.
Please help me get better at this on this effect. I will post mine tonight. All comments appreciated.
    Thanks
    Don

    Hi Sepiana
I'm doing the IOW for the end of this week. I'm looking for someone to take it from me for the following week. Would you be interested in being a Judge for the following week?
Please let me know if your interested.
    Thanks
    Deborah

    Hi Sepiana,

I was admiring you photo with a frame effect you downloaded the plug-in from 8bf.net, so I D/L it too and while I was at it, I D/L the textured plug-in too. My problem is....I can only get the frame filter to show up and not the texture one. Any ideas why the texture one doesn't show in the AAA category??
