Ran the psedptool and things work fine now on the PSE 8.0 when sending tiffs to version sets after converting from jpegs. Used for three days and things seem fine. Thanks. Squalus 2 as posted on the Adobe PSE help section.

John, I have tried Editor & Help to deactivate PSE8 , Ser No , sorry it does not work.Adobe have encrypted the No, I suppose they think they are being clever. Thank you for your input

I have been using your PSEDB Tool and think it's great. Now I've upgraded to PSE 8 and it won't find the correct catalog. It seems to be updating my old PSE 6 catalog. Is there an easy fix for this or is an update required?

I found where my problem was....and fixed it. I can now enter Photoshop.com from the editor.
