Bayla, I'm looking for a post wherein you and Diana (I believe) were discussing grunge frames. Diana gave a link where we could download 100 frames but now I cannot find that link. Do you recall it?
Hi Bayla,
I'm new to the Village and am having fun just "roaming around". Happened upon an image you created with nine squares that each had a different expression on a baby's face. Would you be able to direct me to where I could find info on how to do this? Really a very sweet presentation.
Thank you so much for the help with High Key although mine was not as impressive as yours but I now know how to get the right results. Thank you again. John.
Thank you, Bayla, for your help ... I think you were correct ... it took me a few tries to get my curl to the very end of the right side of my photo and when using the wand tool I had to subtract and still couldn't fine tune enough of the curl. I filled with black then cloned back the little area I hadn't been able to subtract.
I want to try this technique again ... it will go faster and better and I now know that I must be very accurate on the right side of my photo.
Thanks again.
Enjoyed reading about you, a stay-at-home-mom. Good for you. I did it too and have never regretted choosing kids over a career.
While staying at home, to keep myself busy, I volunteered at my children's school library and from there became a storyteller. Now that kids are grown, I do storytelling as a paying job.
Never would have gotten into that had I stayed with my "corporate" job and paid sitters to raise my family!
