    Hi Don,

No, I didn't get any private message from you. Just now I tried to send you one but I couldn't -- something having to do your settings.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I thought that was right and was what I did. I must have been reading to much into it. Will continue trying till I feel I got the great look you did. Keep up all the great things you do.

    Hi Don,

I've just read your visitor message about the tut I used for my image "Hot Rod" -- the problem with step 7(grayscale). Let me see what I can do.

    Step 7:

    - Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation.

    - When the NAL dialog box opens, name your layer "BW" and press OK. Don't worry about the other boxes.

    - When the Hue/Saturation dialog opens, enter -100 in the Saturation box or just move the slider all the way to the left.

Now you should have a black & white image.

Hope this helps. Let me know.

I appreciate you comments and thanks. You are doing really well for being new at this stuff. 47 a great year for sure. I always post my stuff in retouching or photography.
Haven't gotten into the orb thing.
Keep up the good work and learn all you can from the great site. This is where I got all that I know at this point. I use the tutorials and videos a lot.

Hey Don, I was just looking at some of your work! You are the flower, OOB, and frame man! You do these techniques so well. I was wondering...on your OOB...are you following the tutorial or using a plug in from Panos FX, Shutterfreaks, or somewhere? I was thinking of investing in it, and wondering who has the best? Thanks for your help.

It is no bother, I have asked many question here myself to learn things. The frames are in a software program that I won as the IOW winner a while back. It is called onOne Essentials for Elements. There is cut it out, frames and fix sections in the program. I use the cut out and frame parts the most. Very good software. I think it sells for around 40 dollars. I hope this helps you and answers your question.
