Sound is stopping & starting during the lesson

I must have a dark cloud over my head, lately everything is going wrong. Now I can't get the sound on Lesson 21 to play correctly. It is stopping in mid-sentance....then palying...then stopping. Also my Text size has gone hay-wire, I have to put it on 72 just to be able to see it. Does anyone have any suggestions? :confused:

Hi Bettijo ...

If the sound is stopping and starting then it mabe that there are some problems at the moment with the video streaming ... wait a little while and then try again.

Regarding the text size ... It all depends on the resolution and size of your image. If you are working on a large image then your text neeeds to be larger (by the way you can type numbers larger than 72 in the box and it increase the size)

By lesson 21 I am assuming you mean the LAYERS Course. The start and stop happens on my DSL but I found that mornings I get better playing with less stops. Trying a different time during the day may help.

I had this problem yesterday evening when I was trying to record lesson 21 (bonus). I gave up, and retried again this morning and it worked just fine. (& bear in mind that morning for me was very early morning for those of you on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean)

Thanks to everyone, I did wait a few hours and the sound was back to normal. Also, thanks for the tip about puting in the size of text, that helps a lot. Now I have been able to finish lesson 21 and the Bonus. Thanks again. Bettijo

How do you record the lessons? I see you have (bonus) in parens, so maybe it is optional, like in MORE MONEY?? I would pay extra to have the videos, how do you record?

Bil,

There are bonus lessons in the layers course after lessons 7,14 & 21, no extra charge. All the online courses come with bonus lessons.

Some of us have downloaded the trial version of Snagit which captures the lessons as .avi files and means that we will be able to access them when our 60 days are up. Snagit is pretty inexpensive to buy so I think I'm going to purchase it when the trial is up. That's what I meant by 'recording'
