Quick Signup Issue

Hi. Just had a quick signup question.

I tried to sign up for Matt's Layers course but it didn't recognize my email address. Is signing up for the online courses seperate from being a subscriber? Would I be considered a new user if I've never taken one of the online courses before?

You have to set up a different username/password so I suppose you are considered a new user if you have not taken one previously.
