Adobe Downloader vs. Memory Card Manager

Hello everyone,

When I download photos, the Adobe Photo Downloader comes up and populates first. Then a Memory Card Manager comes up and begins to populate with thumbnails also. I've been shutting down the Memory Card Manager before it finishes and proceeding with the Adobe Downloader. Is this OK?

What is the Memory Card Manager? Not a PE3 program? If I don't need it, is there a way to prevent it from poping up?

Have you loaded any software that came with your camera or a card reader etc?

Camera, yes - before I bought PE3.

Card reader, no - Windows XP automatically recognizes it.

Your camera software is probably launching the Memory Card Manager.

Can you find any options in the camera software to turn it off?

You got me on the right track. The Memory Card Manager is part of my Dell All-In-One printer and evidently pops up if I have it in the Photo mode.
