Has anyone used the Process Multiple Files command in PSE 4.0? I used it many times in PSE 3.0 with no problems. For some reason in 4.0 when I run the command the images become nothing more than little specs in the folders? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? Thanks!

You must have the "turn photos to little specs" option turned on. :D Kidding of course. I have no solution or suggestions on this one. All I can tell you is that I have PSE4 and this feature works fine for me. Good luck.

Actually I turned that off and it still didn't work :) :)

Perhaps there is another command called the "unspec" command :)

Just stating the obvious, but sometimes sounding these things out help.
There is a Image Size box and a File Type box. Are both of these turned off?
(At least in V3, but I think V4 is the same). If one or the other is checked, you may be resizing without realizing it.

When you say, "nothing more than little specs in the folder", is that a Windows view? Are you able to call up one of the processed images in Editor?
Does it open correctly there, if you can?

Okay, stupid mistake here. :)

The problem was I was trying to resize, but, I forgot to change the resize command from pixels to inches. Therefore I was resizing images to 4x6 pixels instead of inches. Brilliant!!!

Alrighty then, back to my hole :)

Sounds like it was working perfectly then. Glad you got it figured out.

...Therefore I was resizing images to 4x6 pixels instead of inches...

Yikes, that would be some tiny images. Glad you got it working again. Don't spend too much time in your hole; come back and visit when you can.

Ah yes, but because you didn't have resample checked, the images were all produced at 4,000,247 pixels per inch. So, if you are a termite or and ant, they were actually very high quality.

Ha, so you DID have the "turn photos to little specs" option turned on. :D Glad you found the answer. We all do that kind of thing!!

Oh NOOOOOOOOO...

Sommat else for me to start panicing (?) about when ever I resize a photo.

I fear I may have to do a check list just to open a file now......

TBH if we all exposed our silly little errors like that I am sure anyone just visiting this forum would think us all a bunch of blithering buffoons, who should never be allowed near metal cutlery.....
