In my PSE 3.0 the files folders are listed by the oldest first. Can you change it to display the most recent file folders? Now this is in My Pictures/My Docs I believe.
Thanks!

Dan,
If you are referring to the Organizer in PSE, then yes, the dates can be changed. In the lower left hand corner of the organizer where is says how the date is list, is a down arrow. Click on that arrow and you will see the other choices.

Further investigation is showing that in My Docs>My Pictures>Adobe>Digital Negatives> then individaul files by date with oldest first.
I know this is not a PSE question right now but does anyone know if you can have most recent files displayed(WinXP)?

Dan,
In Windows Explorer you can click on the Date Title above your listed images to reverse your image date order. Is that what you mean?

Thanks Dorrie! Yes that is what I mean but the file structure list is not uniform at all. I need to reorganize the way the files are presented. Files not named are listed by date. Other files are listed by alpha order and some I have no idea how WinXP determined the file structure.

In Windows Explorer set the view to Details(so you can see what info is available for the files).

Then View>Choose Details lets you choose which details you want to see (there are lots but not all images will have all details).

Then View>Arrange Icons By lets you pick which of the details you want to sort on.

To keep the setting make sure that in Tools>Folder Options>View tab that the box marked "Remember each Folder's view settings" box is checked otherwise it will revert to the default.

Once you have the order you want you can change the View back to Thumbnails if you want and it should keep the sort order.

View>Arrange Icons By>Show in Groups is quite useful as it breaks the files into groups (Recent, Last Month, Two months ago, Last Year etc.)
