Downloading Fonts

Hi all. I'm just begining and have completed my first ever digi scrapbook page. I am understanding the layers concept and am trying to download new brushes, layers ect....

How do I download fonts? I have downloaded a bunch of fonts into word and would like to be able to use them in PS3, any ideas how I can do that? I can't seem to find instructions......

Congratulations on your first scrapbook page!! I am really enjoying it also.

Are you on a PC or a Mac? If you have installed the fonts through the Control Panel | Fonts | Install Fonts - they should be available to you in PSE also.

When you use the type tool in PSE and you look at the drop down list of fonts are they not there? I have never run into a font being available in Word and not in other programs.

I am able to see the dropdown menu no problem...... Hmm. Maybe I will go try to download a new font and see if it turns up? I'll check back later.

ETA, I use XP?? does that make any difference?

It should still be the same in XP.

Just a thought ... I'm sure I have read somewhere that some fonts will not work with PSE3. I will see if I can track it down :)
