Hi Wayne,

Basically with iPhoto you have one library ... my view is that instead of that its better to have several. So each year I create two new libraries:

1) General
2) Holidays

Then within those libraries I have my Albums ... so in Holidays I have an Album for each holiday or trip away. I use iPhoto Buddy both to do that and then to manage the set up. Take a look here and read the Feature and Info sections ... it explains it quite well:

...................

Some people do stick with one library but I just thought that as time goes by I will add more and more images to my library ... and it was easy to start off with multiple libraries but difficult at a later stage.

You really need to read all the info and then decide which way is the best way forward for you.

Hope this has helped ... if you need any more info just let me know :)

Wayne,

Do Apple F (Hold down the Apple key and hit F) then do a search on iPhoto Library. when you find where it is ... make a note of its location ... now on iPhoto Buddy click on the little plus sign and follow the instructions to show iPhoto Buddy where your original library is.

Now you should be able to select it via iPhoto Buddy ....

Wayne ...

Just glad to have helped :) ... iPhoto Buddy is a great little program, I have now been using it for about a year or so. Before that I had to manually change libraries ... not an easy task.

Apple F can be a lifesaver when you lose track of a file :)
