I am making my first video using Premiere having given up on Studio 9 because I could never get it to burn a complete video without stopping before the end.
I would like to include, in the Media panel list of AVI files created using 'Scene detect', a column showing the actual date the clip was taken. This information is available on my Sony camcorder and I believe it was displayed by Studio 9 in their version of the Media list.
It is helpful for me to have this information available on screen when making videos of trips as I can refer easily to my diary for extra information and, if appropriate, include on the Timeline any photographs taken on the same day .
The long winded alternative is to find the date on the camera and add it as a comment on the Media panel list.
Please tell me if there is a way round this problem.
