i recently created a slide show on one computer..and wanted to take it home to work on...when i tried to save the creation on a cd it would not let me. Is it not possible to start a creation on one computer and finish it on the other... i have the same catalogs on both computers....

Yes it is possible and I do that. It sounds like you have a hardware issue. Not all CD driver can are read/write drives. Some are read only. There is also a difference between a CD and DVD. If you have a CD writer you can write to the CD but you must finalize the CD so that it can be read by other computers. Once it is finalized you will not be able to add to that CD unless is designed for multiple writes. I bought a memory stick for doing this. It is smaller, compatable with any machine that has a USB port and I can read or write to it as much as I want.
In summery:
Can the system your trying write your CD on have a CD writable drive?
If so does it have the correct hardware driver installed?
Are you using the write format of CD for that type of drive?
