Fogged Over!

I have a photo to which I want to add a .jpg file logo. I'm sure I can do this in layers....but when I open one photo in layers......I can't open the other for a separate layer. I can do that, can't I? Elements seems to allow me to work only with 1 photo at a time; when I open another, I get a new set of Layers. I'm sure this is a simple process, but I guess I've forgotten!!! Can anyone clear my foggy aging memory? Thanks.

Hi, Larry -

just drag the layer with the image onto the image where you want it - then it'll be it's own layer.

If you prefer to copy-n-paste, open the second image, press <Ctrl>/Cmd>+<A> to select all, <Ctrl>/<Cmd>+<C> to copy, and open the destination image and press<Ctrl>/<Cmd>+<V> to paste it -

Try Windows>Images>Cascade or Tile so that both images are visible in your workspace.
