Opening A Picture

I have been trying to make the photo that is in one of the newsletters to make a cube containg pictures. The instructions state to activate the pictures you want in the cube. How do I active a new picture to make it a new layer.

To make the layer active, in the layer palette, click on its layer. If the layer palette isn't visible, click on Window / Layers.

Hi...Where did you find instructions about making such a cube? I have looked at the tutorials and the videos with no success.

It is in Vol #3, Issue #3, page 4. It is not too hard, but take a little getting used to.

In the same magazine, you'll also find the Stained Glass tutorial, page 6 and 7.

I have been admiring all the stained glass pictures being worked on and posted.........as beautiful and unique as each one is, it's killing me to have to wait for my issue of the magazine!!
