Can someone suggest how to correct a panoramic image with colors that don't match up. I try to use the exact same settings when I take the orginals, but it appears I was off, making the colors off when they are merged. 3 imagines combined, but the middle one is darker then the others. I thought about trying to edit each one, but then I still will not get exact color matches. Any ideas?

Use the Polygonal lasso tool -- it will allow you to make straight lines and enclose the dark area.
Then use levels to lighten it until it matches the other two parts -- and some touch up along the edges with a clone stamp should smooth out the final product.

Thats how I do it too ... donlt forget to add a feather (using Select>Feather) when you have selected the area to lighten. That will avoid a harsh transistion :)
Do let us know how you go on with it ...

Smudging, feather, there are a number of ways... Try a couple and see which YOU prefer.
Just remember there is NO RIGHT WAY to do anything.

Scott 44,
Thank you, Tyr gets a lot of mentions from me, partly because he is the subject of a VERY large majority of the photos I take....

one of the bonus lessons in kelby's workflow course covered this very question well.
