Here is the way the black line comes out from showing off tut #3. I have done stroke, 1 pixel, black, center, normal. Does anyone know why?

Shari try making you stroke large than one pix, if you have a hi res picture that is very small, try 10 and then see how it looks. With the one pix stroke if you zoomed up very close you would see it better but looking at the pic overall it would be hard to see.

Are you talking about the light gray one and the fact that there isn't a line on the right side of the picture....(or I may need glasses). I had that same thing happen to me the other day. I tried different size strokes and it still didn't show. I don't know why.

Hi ...

Now this is an strange one and it tends to happen when the size of your images is in odd sizes.

Sometimes if you double click on the hand tool or zoom in just a little closer then the line becomes visible again. Increasing the size of your stroke or slightly cropping the image should solve the problem .. :)

Terry - that was it - thank you. I spent two hours this morning trying to get that photo right. It is to be a card for my friend's Mother who lives in California. I find it so amazing with this programme - one little step that is not correct can stop a project from turning out. Of course - that is how we learn. I will never forget to make the line a little thicker. Matt does say one pixel in his tutorial so I would assume that was correct!
Thanks again. Try 9 or 10 Colleen.

Shari one thing to remember when watching the videos is that things like strokes and feathering are dependent on the resolution of the pictures used. A low number looks good on a low resolution pic but if your working on a high res pic you usually need to go higher. I think they sometimes mention this in the videos.
