I currently have Photoshop Elements 2 and work with it and am actually learning a little more about it. I hate reading all those books on it, I much prefer to have a CD video. I was thinking of buying Photoshop Elements 3 but don't know if it would make that much of a difference. Are there some features that are really worth getting PE3 ?

Hi there ...
... and welcome to the forum :)
PSE3 does have some additional features that are worth getting it for ... but probably the biggest change is that in version 3 (windows version) they did away with the filebrowser and brought in the Organiser.
If you prefer learning by watching Videos then the Subscriber area here would probable be ideal for you as there are over 100 Video tutorial in there. Plus there is also a written tutorial section, downloads, extras etc ... and you get a newsletter too :)

You can also download the tryout, for Photoshop Elements 3 (yes, even if PSE4 is out), via Adobe's FTP server :
In Internet Exploder for Windows : enter this address in the address bar :
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshopelements/win/3.x/
Then choose to download this file : PSE3_UE_WinTrial.zip
Macintosh : In the Finder, Press Command - K, then enter this address :
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshopelements/win/3.x/
Then choose to download this file : pse_mac_ue.hqx

Just enter ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe
and you'll find a gold mine worth of old stuff (not goodies, just old tryouts and various stuff).
You can also find the same kind of information at Corel's
ftp.corel.com
When I grow old, I'm gonna hold an Antique Shop :) :)

Actually, I got rid of my PC pretty quickly after my first Mac came in and since then, only Macs entered our home.
I have an Performa 6xxx running Mac OS 8.1 (won't boot 9.2.2)

Thanks for the info, I will certainly check out the tutorials, I'm sure I will need them. Come to find out, I couldn't find any stores that still carry PS3:( . So I decided to go ahead and get PS4. I haven't checked into everything but I do like the organizer. It will take me a while to go through everything and I still have PS2 on my computer if I want to just work with that. What is the best thing you guys have found about PS4?

Hi Litespeed ...
If you like the Organiser then you are better off with PSE4 ... I understand that it fixed quite a few problems that the Organiser had in version 3.
Both Ray & myself are Mac users ... and the Mac version doesn't have the Organiser :) ... but no doubt one of the Windows users will be able to update you on its best features.

Best thing about PSE4 ? If you do a lot of retouching, the skin tool is excellent (if you make a selection first).
