This forum/newltter help for Photoshop 8.0

A freind I met on another forum (not related) is wanting to know if the
photo elements tutorials would also work for Adobe Photoshop 8.0 she is going to a glass but is really confused. I mentioned this forum, tutorials and newletter but first she would like to know the answer to the above question.

Some of the tutorials will work but the problem is that things are not in the same place in PSE and CS (tools, menus etc) so if she is a beginner they may well just confuse her more.

It is difficult trying to find tutorials for total beginners but there are some here:

if she scrolls down the screen she will find them ... they are written for Photoshop 7 but are so simple and easy to follow. I am sure that they will help her ... if she does get stuck then I'm sure that someone here will lend a hand. So tell her not to worry :)
