My Map gradient picture, fun fun fun

:D Good Morning Yep that is just how I looked last night( the grin on my face) at 1:00 in the morning trying out this technique. I hope you don't mind my showing off this pictures I assure it is not skill I am showing you because that I am still in preschool on PSE4 but just what I am playing with. They are not even a finished work( haven't even tried frames) but just doing something sure helps me learn that much more. I learned about a little about gradient maps and had two layers on the same picture. Sometimes doing something like this that is so easy makes some of the awful hair pulling I am about to quit pictures much easier to stay with.

I have two suggestions:

One ... is just crop a small amount off the left hand side (to about three quarters the way through that small light patch it looks like a leaf?) and that should give it the "thirds" balance.

Two ... Add your signature in the bottom right hand corner.

For me that is all it needs ... :)

That's beautiful. Were you following a tutorial or just experimenting? One thing I'd say is that if you are thinking of any sort of frame, I'd keep it very simple so as not to distract from the picture. (Just my opinion:) )

Vesta, that is sooo beautiful. I must look at that tut. Problem is I don't have any little ones to try it on. I don't know if that effect will suit my dog!!! Like someone said I would just do a very simple frame, crop and your name. I would also have it framed and hang it somewhere.
