i have a collection of photos that i store on a simple file server as they are precious to me, that machine is running RAID1, i keep 2 copies of Elements 4, on laptop and on a desktop. The files are mapped to the desktop while a copy is sync to the laptop using Microsoft's Synctoy that i run time to time to synv photos i imported to laptop during photos shoots then back to desktop, i use elements to reimport them again into Elements 4.
I want the tags to remain intact but there isn't a simple way to do that (or is there?), tags are not imported.
Is there a way to export from laptop (and vice versa) anddesktop wit hthe tags/ categories remaining intact? Does elements have something built in? i do not want to import and export the whole thing as the photos are growing into 30+Gb...
