What is the maximum size for importing stills

I need some help with using still photo's in PE 2.0

I made some photo montages in PSE 4.0 that I want to use in a video; but when I try to send them to PE, I get a message stating File video dimensions (width/heigth) are too large.

What is the maximum size and do I need to save it as a jpeg file, before sending it to PE?

Gloria,

While I do not know what maximum resolution PrEl2 will accept, I do know that your image will be down-sized to about 720x480 when you create a video in PrEl.

If you keep the image size to below 2000 x 2000 ppi you should be fine. The best format for still images in PE2 is PSD.
