saving newly created styles

I am trying out Photoshop via Adobe's 30 day trials. Having tried Photoshop CS where it was easy to save the styles I had created, I don't seem to be able to do this in Photoshop Elements 3. I'm sure this can't be right and I must be missing something really obvious. I can create and save brushes and patterns but not styles. I'm wondering if the trial version lacks some of the functions in the version you buy but that didn't seem to be the case with CS.

nope, you cannot create and save your own styles in Elements...that's full version photoshop option only.
