I recently subscribed and was following a video tutorial Snapshot Effect.
I've been able to follow along and make the changes, but my question.........Is there something I've missed? When I make my changes they don't show up immediately. For example......I've gotten through the freeform rotation and so on.......but when I created a Hue/Saturation layer my changes don't appear on my photo. Is there a setting or preference I've missed to cause this to happen as I make my choices???

Thanks in advance. I really am terribly new to all of this, but trying so hard.

Hi there ...

Does your layer palette look like Dave's does (with the three layers) ?

Wendy-

Yup, it did look like the example, and for whatever reason, things just started working like they were supposed to. I got to the end of the tutorial......and feel OK with my results, for a change.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to show you the results......

Hi there ..

... so pleased that it is now working OK :)

If you don't have your own webspace then you can always upload your images to Pixentral ... to do that:

First resize your image using "save for web"
Set the longest side to 750 pixels and click on Apply
then adjust the quality slider until the image is around 150K.
and save it with a new name.

Then go to ...
http://www.pixentral.com/index.php

Follow the instructions on the site and then when your image is uploaded copy the URL from just above the image and paste it into a message here :)

Sleeve tugger:

You did a great job! Really nice photo! Wish I had done as well on my first try ( or second, or third...)
