OK, Robyn. You are an inspiration and I finally sat down to give this a serious try. I have a long way to go to catch up with you and a few others here, but this is this morning's try.
edit: I just deleted that one.

How about this one instead -- a little brighter.
edit: changed it again.

OK -- I'm having fun with this and I just made a new version. Instead of a link, I'll just point you to my gallery instead.

These are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Is there a tutorial to explain how to do the stained glass effect? I love it, and I love flowers.
Has anyone tried to print one of these on acetate, & hang it in a window?
Looking forward to learning this.

Jo, that is lovely!
It is fun to make isn't it. I just love doing it, but I must force myself to try other things. :D
Judy,
Wendy tells us that there is going to be a tut in the next newsletter.

One more time. This time I made the daffodil into stained glass, too.

Hi Hamlet ...
Oh you have done well with it :)
One thing that I would suggest. Try applying a beve to the layer that has your stained glass lines on it ... that makes it looks more like real lead :)

Wendy, ah so that is what I was missing, I am still not sure if I can get the effect I want, cos really I would like to seperate parts of the main subject and put a leading effect between them. NOW if that is not too time consuming.
Also I am not so sure about just 'dumping' an image on top of the stained glass part, seems to me as if it is a bit of a cheat.....
<edit> I have tried as you suggested, it looks a little more.. ish, but I think I shall give my grand plan a shot in the next couple of days.....
But then I am weird like that.
