Ya know, I thought I had the whole color management under my rule. Wrong. I just went to print my new Easter family portrait from the Editor after I finished (a 5x7). Then I decided to print wallets for family. The Organizer loaded, I made all the selections for the same paper, even loaded my calibrated custom printer profile as it was used in printing from the Editor. So with all the options the same... my output was different AND soft. When is this going to end? Then I tried a program from my printer software and that rendered prints way off too (brighter, more contrast), but the image is sharp. I'd say this one looks better than the Organizer prints.

The only true image that matches on screen (from a calibrated monitor) was from Editor. What do you do when you want wallets? Contact sheet? When will the Editor offer these multiple print options to obtain consistent prints????? Mac users--since you dont have the Organizer, what do YOU do???ARGH!

Hi Beatrice ...

Being a Mac user I alway print from the Editor all I do is resize them and print if I wany smaller ones. When it comes to contact sheets we have them in the Editor but I don't use that either .. what I do is create a file (size of my paper) then just add photos to the file. Resizing if I need to ...

It works well :)

Beatrice,

On the Mac, there's the easy to use Picture Package (File / Picture package). You can even customize your own package.

As I was testing the Picture Package function, I let it create a series of sheets out of a folder full of images. PSE created one image per series.

Now, on the Mac, there's this thing called Exposé, which handles how you can move windows in and out of your screen so that you can get access to your Desktop.

After PSE was completed, I was left with a myriad of windows... I then tested Exposé to move all windows out, and to bring only PSE windows in. I was lmao :)

WAHHHHH I WANT MY MAC!!!!!! I WANT MY MAC!!

Ray I could not imagine what you were talking about until... I watched the video LOL! Cool feature but I was about to throw up watching it (I get motion sickness easy) LOL

I woke up this morning realizing I will have to create a template and drop my photo into there to print wallets. I have been getting such great results from editor - I need to use it to print everything.

It's nice that you like the Editor so much, because PSE is only the Editor, for Mac ;)

Me too, I had to stand away from the monitor when I saw the bazillion of windows there were.. :D I never, ever get things to such a degree. Only today, it was something I didn't expect !
