This is a renewal of a previous thread for which I have not received a real solution. Hopefully more people will see it here and help me solve the problem.
If you are using Elements 4 and have folders with pictures on more than one computer on a network, please let me know whether or not you experience the problem described below. Do your folders appear as mine do With Elements 3 or as mine do with Elements 4.
Here is the way my folder structure appears in Elements 3.

and here is the way it appears in Elements 4.

Elements 4 shows the MAC computer 4 times, once for each subfolder that has a picture. If I had 10 or 20 folders with pictures this list would get very long. In Elements 3 all subfolders are properly grouped under one MAC computer. The same thing happens with other Windows computers on the network.
While I could use Elements 4 if I maintained only one folder with pictures on each networked computer, this restriction is too severe. Therefore I have stayed with Elements 3. Since I am comfortable with Elements 3, my real concern is that I will be stuck with this software and have no migration path to future improvements in Elements. If Adobe does not fix this, I think I am stuck with Elements 3.
